Welcome to 1881, where we celebrate wine from around the world with friends across West Georgia. Located in downtown Carrollton, 1881 offers delicious food, an extensive selection of beverages, and an invitation to discover new flavors on every visit.

Founders Rob & Michelle Cason opened the wine bar in 2025 and chose the name after finding a brick from the original construction of the building printed 1881. Acquired in 2026 by veteran Carrollton restaurant owners Zach Steed & Jamie Hoefling, 1881 Wine continues to be locally owned and operated. Rob and Zach were originally brothers in Sigma Nu fraternity at the University of Georgia, where Zach's pledge number was- you guessed it- 1881! Their longtime friendship led to Rob passing the torch to Zach & Jamie in 2026.
